strix_albaIt has been a longass time since I wrote anything here, tumblr being a much less lonely platform for me. I don't trust tumblr links at all, though, so here goes.

Hello! Thank you so very much for volunteering to write a story for me!
General things that I like to read: found-family fics, ship fics, OT3s, and stories about friendship in general — especially odd friendships/friendships that are suggested but not expanded upon in canon. ALL the friendships! ALL the stories about people trying out poly/alternative relationship formats and communicating about them/trying really hard to communicate! I don’t actively seek out explicit fics most of the time, and the ones I do like are focused heavily on the characters’ personalities and relationship as expressed through sex more than the doing of the do. (Does that make sense? I hope so.) Domestic and slice-of-life stories are my absolute favorite, for whatever value of domestic fits the characters.
I’m fond of characters dealing with the aftermath of battles/cataclysmic shifts in their lives. Learning to deal with tragedy and picking up the pieces is good. I don't know that all of this specifically applies to my fandoms below, but that is a general idea of what I gravitate towards. I also love stories about the calm before the storm, or the eye of the storm, or watching the storm from inside the house and listening to the rain rattling the windows in silence. Metaphorically. Happy stories are awesome, but straight-up fluff is not really my thing. Real life isn’t 100% happy, and I find I connect more to stories when even at the height of cracky fluffy glee, there are still hints that ground the story in a more realistic universe.
Things I am not up for: character bashing of anyone even if I don’t like them, misogyny/racism/homophobia/transphobia (even if it’s in-character for the character; please avoid it, if only because it’s Christmas and I don’t want to have to deal with it for once); underage anything; non-con; dub-con; non-canonical trans characters; May-December romances, age-play kink, watersports.
Things I am up for as long as it’s clear that they are Not Okay in real life/without consent: con-non-con, gore, blood, violence, D/s dynamics
Stylistically speaking, the only POV I don't really like is first-person present tense (and, I suppose, first-person future, but I've never ever read anything that uses that exclusively). I don't think any of my fandoms particularly lend themselves to stylistic experimentation, but if you have an idea that tells the story in, I don't know, text messages or second-person conditional or whatever, you rock on.

Specifics for fandoms are below. There are some of them where I have more specific wish-lists than others, but rest assured that I will be very happy with any of them,
Fic of my heart: give this family some goddamn financial security, and let them keep it. I really, really want something nice to happen to the Belchers. Maybe the restaurant finally becomes profitable. Maybe Gene goes commercial, or Tina becomes a bestselling zombie erotica author, or Linda turns out to be a great manager in the entertainment business. Or they become a regular stop on the adventurous eaters circuit. Christmas miracle!
If AUs are your thing, most of those would also amuse me: zombies, actual cannibals, apocalypse, aliens come to town, etc. Please no genderbends.
Annnnd if neither of those appeal, then write what you will! For this fandom, weird is awesome, morbid humor is awesome, super-serious things and porn are Do Not Wants but other than that go nuts.

All of these characters appearing at once isn't required. And honestly I'm pretty down with whatever you want to write in this fandom because as long as it's in the gen-ish target area, I'll be happy with what you want to write. That being said, if you want ideas...
Anything about Meredith Blitzmeyer!! Particularly things that involve Science, and how that science works with the monkpunk setting. What her life is like before Nimona arrives in it, and what it's like afterwards. Do she and Blackheart become friends? Do they just exchange Christmas cards? An epilogue. Blackheart and Goldenloin when they were younger, because in the bit of them we saw in the flashback, Blackheart seemed to have been more of a big-brother figure than a love interest, so how did their relationship change in the years between that scene and the duel? Alternatively, anything more of Nimona's history - has she made friends before? Why did she decide to work for Blackheart? How old is she? I don't think the canon story would have worked if it was written from her POV instead of Blackheart's, but now that the story is over, it would be really cool to read more about how she thinks and what her experiences are like.
And if none of those tickle your fancy, the Gay Dads AU is always appreciated.

Things I like about this story/want to see more of: the Musketeers bouncing off each other. Aerich crocheting. Aerich and Tazendra being alive. Khaavren not being guilt-ridden and sad. I have *only* read the Khaavren Romances. I have not read any of the Vlad Taltos books. If you write for this fandom please don't lean on Vlad's-story-only things.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Stories I would enjoy:
- anything you can do to expand on Rosa’s life outside of the station, since she takes great care that no one knows anything. I would love to find out what kind of person her boyfriend is. (I’ll be honest: I like the idea of Rosa having a girlfriend, instead of or in addition to a boyfriend, but that’s wishful “oh, what-if” thinking and in no way a demand.)
- Jake/Amy/Rosa. My headcanon for those three is that Jake and Amy are the ones who do the emoting in that relationship, Amy is the one who insists on Communication, and Rosa communicates her feelings for them via unexpectedly awesome kinky sex. I'm not married to that headcanon though, so feel free to ignore it.
- Harry Potter AU, because I saw a tumblr post sorting them into various houses, so if that sparks any ideas and you can do it in the spirit of yuletide (i.e. the Harry Potter cast is only mentioned or there as background) then go for it. If it does not, no tears will be shed
- ensemble shenanigans, holidays of any kind optional but appreciated
- Rosa's feelings about the unit
- Jake and Amy solving crimes and/or household mysteries together (I have never shipped a het ship as hard as I do them. They are also one of the only ships I sail where I don't mind assuming an established relationship)
- In the Thanksgiving episode, Jake toasts to his new family, "a really weird family with two black dads, two Latina daughters, two white sons, Gina, and [Hitchcock and Scully]." That AU would be pretty sweet.
- AUs are also appreciated here: medieval, paranormal anything, space opera, etc.

My kingdom for a Khaavren/Tazendra/Aerich AU in which Aerich and Tazendra somehow survive the fight against the Jenoine. Or which is set before that. I realize that I have a very specific request for this fandom, and if you’re getting this and you don’t want to write it, that’s okay, too. Broader version: platonic domestic aftermath of The Viscount of Adrilankha, or all of the characters communicating about why they can’t make a relationship happen (Aerich’s “in love with Tazendra, but she’s the wrong house” kind of thing, only more so). Pel can be included, I like Pel as much as the next person, he just never came in and won my heart the way the other three did and I don't see him as being domestic with ambitions like his. I can see him visiting frequently, and being considered a member of their family while he's around.
Even if it's just temporary, or gen, I would just like to see the four of them spending down time together. Consideration: how would any sort of domestic or semidomestic arrangement like that have affected Khaavren's views of Piro's relationship?
